Art Bilger is Founder and CEO of WorkingNation. He is an active investor in early stage private companies engaged in activities where content is integrated with new technologies, with particular focus on online education, digital media, and analytics. Art's activities in this area began as an investor in and Vice Chairman of Akamai Technologies Inc. Prior career involvements included President and COO of New World Communications, a founding partner of Apollo Advisors LP and EVP and Co-Head of Corporate Finance of Drexel Burnham Lambert. Art is a member of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School Board of Overseers. Other non-profit affiliations include Vice Chairman of the Skirball Cultural Center, a Board member of Bet Tzedek, a legal services organization, Advisory Board for the Milken Institute Center for the Future of Aging, a member of the Los Angeles Coalition for the Economy and Jobs and sits on the Executive Committee of Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC). Art received his B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and MBA from The University of Chicago.
