Yuka Shimokawa

Yuka Shimokawa is an Advisor for Asia at the Milken Institute, specializing in building and expanding the Milken Institute’s visibility and network in Japan. She has a proven track record in building relationships with supporters globally and has played a key role in fostering engagement across the Institute's network. Yuka also spearheaded the growth of the Milken Institute Individual Memberships in Asia, overseeing the Associates and the Young Leaders circle, a dynamic community uniting the next generation of leaders in the region. Before assuming her current role, Yuka served as the Associate Director of Business and Program Development at the Milken Institute Asia Center. Her background includes four years in the Investment Banking Division at Bank of America, bringing a wealth of financial and business expertise to her work. Yuka Shimokawa is a licensed lawyer in New York State and holds a master's degree from UC Berkeley School of Law.
