Henry is a Director within the Intermediaries Supervision department of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, where he is responsible for overseeing investment banks, broker-dealers and asset managers. He is involved in various policy initiatives, including in areas such as AI / machine learning, cloud computing and virtual assets. Prior to joining the SFC, he was a senior manager in the risk advisory practice in PwC UK. Notable engagements included acting as the head of pricing and systems on the Lehman Brothers administration, where he was responsible for the valuation of OTC derivatives and structured finance trades. He began his career as an analyst in the defence industry. He graduated from Cambridge University with a Master’s degree in Natural Sciences.
