Fraz Siddiqui
Head of Growth and M&A, Direct Investments, Mubadala Investment Company
Fraz Siddiqui is an Executive Director in the Direct Investments platform at Mubadala Investment Company, where he heads the Growth and M&A team. Fraz also serves as a member of the Investment Committee for Direct Investments, which reviews and approves proposed projects and transactions within the platform.
During his 13-year tenure at Mubadala, Fraz has held several senior positions including Head of Mergers & Acquisitions for Mubadala group and Head of Financial Services Investments. In his various roles, Fraz has evaluated and executed private & public equity investments across several industries, developed new sector investment strategies, managed strategic partnerships and represented Mubadala on various boards.
Prior to joining Mubadala, Fraz worked at American Capital Strategies, a publicly traded buyout and mezzanine fund headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland. While at American Capital, Fraz’s efforts were focused on evaluating, executing and monitoring principal investments.
He began his career at Price Waterhouse and worked in the assurance and corporate finance practices.
Fraz holds a graduate degree in public accountancy and undergraduate degree in business from McGill University in Montreal. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
